** Sample questions for the discussions:

  • Describe how this work is a step forward, both for CU and its infrastructure and for the national capabilities?
  • Describe the context within which this step is being taken.  Which institutions are playing key roles in this field?  What is CU’s value-add?
  • What end users will benefit from this work?  Identify specific targeted sectors or sponsors that need this work and how you know.
  • Assuming that the vision for the project comes to fruition, what new work does this open up for CU?  Which sponsors will fund and support this work going forward?  Can you give an estimate of the economic value of this new work?
